The war of words between Quincy Jones and the Jackson family intensified this week after the legendary producer claimed Michael Jackson stole his signature song “Billie Jean” from Donna Summer.
In an exclusive interview, Joe Jackson told RadarOnline.com exclusively that Jones must “be delusional.”
“He’s a bit jealous and, like everyone else, he has gone after my son’s money,” the family patriarch said.
Jones won a $10 million judgement against Jackson’s estate last year after he claimed that he wasn’t paid for past royalties.
Jones produced Jackson’s biggest albums, “Off the Wall,” “Thriller,” and “Bad.” He also produced Summer’s “State of Independence,” which he claimed Jackson pilfered to make the 1983 hit, “Billie Jean.”
“People should really consider what Quincy’s lie is because he was the producer, the major player, on both of those songs,” Joe Jackson said. “Plus, nobody has ever made music like my son and no one ever will.”
had gay sex with Godfather star Marlon Brando.
When asked if he would ever forgive Jones for his attack on his son’s legacy, Jackson said he was just getting started.
“Forgive? S**t. My son is not here to defend himself and the world knows that Michael was the number 1 artist in the world and he didn’t need to steal from anybody,” Jackson said.
