Farmers bury themselves partially in pits against land acquisition. A group of farmers in Rajasthan's Sikar buried themselves partially in pits to protest against acquisition of their lands for a toll road. The farmers are demanding the government to compensate for their losses. They stated that the demonstration will turn more aggressive if their demands are not met.
