According to a report by Reuters, pro-government forces continued to pound Syria's eastern Ghouta on Tuesday, killing at least 66 people after the enclave's heaviest single-day death toll in three years. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the surge in air strikes, rocket fire, and shelling has killed over 210 people, including children, in the rebel pocket near Damascus since the bombardment began on Sunday.
