MUMBAI, INDIA — A blind Indian man may regain his sight after having a 1.8kg brain tumor from the back of his skull.
Shopkeeper Santlal Pal had been living with the massive tumor on his head for three years before it was removed this month.
Surgeons at Nair Hospital in Mumbai removed it on February 14. According to Live Science, the brain tumor might be one of the biggest in the world.
They say only 10% of the tumor grew within Pal's skull, but that was enough to make him blind. He may regain his sight through recovery.
