When creating a cartoon there are many different approaches that can be employed to best present your subject of commentary. This week, Kal is tackling the subject of the leaked "Paradise Papers" which reveal the scope and breadth of offshore tax avoidance by rich companies and individuals.

This subject did not centre on a specific figure so the traditional tool of caricature would not be needed in this case. Instead, Kal's creating a short-film storyboard as his central delivery device. This allows Kal to tell a cartoon narrative over time with all the elements of a good tale: a hook, rising action, a twist, climax and pay off all in just five panels.
