Florida student passes NRA in Twitter followers

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Emma González now has more than a million Twitter followers. This number now exceeds more than both the National Rifle Association and its spokesperson Dana Loesch. It has been two weeks since the attack in Parkland. González and her fellow students have been savvy on social media to push their campaign for stronger gun laws. The students’ movement has helped to keep the issue of school shooting and guns in the headlines for two weeks.
