Glasgow man finds quickest way to beat the snow

A man has been filmed skiing through the streets of Glasgow's suburbs while being towed by a car in the midst of the "Beast from the East" storm this morning (March 1).

The skier said: "House bound in Bearsden, Glasgow, with 50cm of snow. My friend has snow chains for his car, came over and thought it was a great idea to tow behind it and have some fun!"
