Vehicles Stuck on A31 Following Collision

Motorists were stranded on the A31 in southern England late on Thursday, March 1, following a collision on the snow-covered road.Alex Kay shot this video of the scene, saying his Thursday trip from Farnborough to Bournemouth took over nine hours, instead of the usual 1.5 or 2.Hampshire Police requested military assistance to clear the traffic. Around 100 vehicles were stuck, ITV reported.Similar road conditions were reported on the A38 near Devon. A red weather warning was in place for the region until early Friday as Storm Emma snarled traffic and disrupted flights.
