The Devil's Pool, Wissahickon Park Trails PA (Axis Video)
The path to get here can be treacherous. The Devil's Pool is a mysteriously named pool of water located under rocks and a 60 foot bridge.
The location is notoriously known to the locals as an area for daredevils and teens to earn their wings by jumping from either the rocks or the bridge into the shallow, narrow body of water.
In the summertime hundreds of teens congregate here to take a dip in the cool water, seeking shelter from the heat.
Not much is known as how the location earned the name The Devil's Pool, but some speculate that the ancient Native Americans may have given it the name.
