Ingredients:

1.chana dal - 2 cups
2.green chilli - 4
3.ginger - 1 inch
4.salt to tast
5.red chilli powder - 3 tbsp
6.black salt - 1 tbsp
7.turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
8.black powder - 3 tbsp
4.roasted cumin seeds powder - 3 tbsp
5.curd - 1 cup
6.eno - 1/2 tbsp
7.water as required
8.oil as required
9.sev for garnish

*Recipe for locho masala.

-take a red chilli powder in a bowl.
-add black papper powder,black salt or whaite salt, & roasted cumin seeds powder.
-mix the all ingredients.
-locho masala is ready.

*Locho Recipe:

-firstly soak chana dal to overnight.
-take mixing jar.
-coarsely grind soacked chana dal,green chilli & ginger.
-take water as per requirement.
-take out grind lentil in a big bowl.
-now adding curd, salt & turmeric powder.
-keep aside to 10 to 15 mints.
-after 10-15 mints, adding eno.
-steam take any steamer or any utensil in which other utensil can be placed.
-Take 2 cup water in big utensil and place it on flame for heating.
-Place a wire stand in it for keeping other utensil on it.
-Grease the container with oil to be used for making surti locho.
-pour the batter in container.
-When water and steam starts forming, place the batter filled utensil on the wire stand.
-cover it and cook locho for 15 mints.
-after 15 mints, check it with knife.
-if batter does not stick to knife then locho is to eat.
-take out in a plat.
-sprinkle locho masala & oil or butter.
-also spread cheese.
-garnish with sev.
-serve with onion & green chutney.
