Sophie Simmons began singing at the young age of four, quickly picking up skills on the piano and guitar. Growing up she pushed her musical roots aside to follow a different career path, but couldn’t escape the rhythm of singing and songwriting and began fully pursuing her passion for music. She has since written and performed to audiences as large as 20,000. In late 2015, she was featured on Rebel’s cover of the 90’s classic "Kiss Me" via Casablanca Records, which went to #1 on Spotify in 9 countries and currently has 9.9 million streams on Spotify alone. Sophie’s recent release of her debut single “Black Mirror” earlier this year was met with ample support from Spotify and Apple Music, placing her on multiple playlists and resulting in the single topping the US & Canada Spotify Viral 50 charts. Billboard exclusively premiered the “Black Mirror” music video, followed by features from VEVO, HITS, Baeble Music, etc.

For the last two years, Sophie has been busy collaborating with the likes of Bonnie McKee, Yellow Claw, Dave Aude, etc. writing and producing songs. Sophie has been in the studio creating music for her own projects, as well as writing for Rick Ross. Last year she co-wrote and was featured on the lead track “Home” on Yellow Claw’s latest album Los Amsterdam, The Galaxy’s lead single “Dangerous” from their latest EP, Cesqeax’s “Private Time”, Different Heaven’s “Live At Night”, and has a handful more on the way this year.

Sophie has taken a multifaceted approach to entertainment, and made a name for herself outside of her rock n' roll roots. Through music, TV, film, and digital outreach, Sophie has establishing herself as an artist, actress, model, host and activist. Sophie has used her platform to re-define beauty, hosting Refinery 29’s Body Image School digital series and as the face of Adore Me’s “all women campaign.” Sophie additionally runs a child abuse advocacy center called ‘Sophie’s Place’ in her second home of Vancouver, Canada.

Sophie’s goal is to impact and connect people through her music and art. She treasures the connections that can be made through authentic human experiences, and hopes to write and perform music that will both reflect and inspire such.
