Cops nab fake U.S. Marshal who stole iPhone X armed with BB gun

BOYNTON BEACH, FLORIDA — Officers in Boynton Beach, Florida arrested a man on March 22 after he falsely claimed to be a U.S. Marshal.

The 61-year-old was reported for trespassing at a Best Buy on March 21, according to text accompanying video of the incident posted to the department's YouTube page.

Officers found the man to have a U.S. Marshal lapel pin, BB gun and a stolen iPhone X that was allegedly taken from the store at an earlier date.
