Wall Street finished strong for the first time in three days,... propped up by tech shares.
The Dow Jones rose over one-percent to close 24,103, and the S&P 500 too, was up over one-point-3 percent at 2,640.
The Nasdaq pulled off a one-point-six percent gain,... despite opportunistic selling pressure against Facebook and Amazon.
Shares in Korea also extended gains on Thursday.
The benchmark KOSPI added zero-point-7 percent at 2,436, while its junior bourse KOSDAQ closed up over one-point-7 percent at 865.
