Cirque du Soleil and Sony Pictures announced the release of the Cirque du Soleil concert show for the big screen in movie theaters. It will be released this month (they made the announcement on very short notice).
This probably means that we can expect a DVD release of the show by Christmas or latest by Spring 2009. I would be surprised, if they would not do that. Christmas would be perfect to get a piece of the holiday business.
