The Nike Hypervenom Phantom 3 is the latest installment in the popular silo from Nike. Made for the ruthless striker, the Phantom 3 is made for one thing and one thing only - help the striker finish it! For the first time, the low cut model has been equipped with a full Flyknit upper and knitted Flywire wires that can move inside its channels to give you a dynamic and efficient lockdown. The soleplate has also been revised and is now made with a zonal softness so the midfoot is stiffer for a better responsiveness but with a softer forefoot to give you the maximum freedom of movement. \r
Compared to the Hypervenom 1 which was the revolutionary boot on the market in new, the new boot is much more technologically advanced, but it still struggles when it comes to the softness of the upper. Here, Hypervenom Phantom 1 is still the king with its honeycomb-like mesh upper, which is then coated with NikeSkin. It lacked a bit of lockdown and didnt have the most innovative sole plate ever made, but it set the tone for Nike and quickly gained a loyal following. The big question is then; which is better?
