Dramatic electrical storm lights up sky over north Australia

A weather watcher in Western Australia has captured this spectacular time-lapse footage of recent storms.

Geoff Green captured the footage over a series of days in March.

It shows lightning storms and heavy rain rolling over the sparsely populated Kimberley area, which lies in the north of the country.

Elsewhere in the video, Green has captured apocalyptic-like scenes of orange dust storms that affected Australia at the end of March.
