CM changes his stances according to the need in regards to the demand for Special Category Status (SCS) for AP.
YS Jagan mentioned that over the last four years, Chandrababu never bothered to keep up the promises he made before the elections. He was not concerned about anything and never did any good for the public, he informed and added that similarly he was not keen on SCS for the state.
YSRCP Chief alleged that the CM was claiming that Special Package for AP was much better than having SCS. “Now that the elections are just a year away and having understood the pulse of the public, he is playing a new drama of demanding SCS. Over the last four years we have been ruled by lies and false promises.
Chandrababu Naidu had put in every effort to scuttle the Special Category Status (SCS) in all possible ways, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that during his four year term as Chief Minister the one thing he did not bother to show any interest was the issue of special status and he has taken an U-turn before elections and his friendly media is trying hard to justify his changing stance at every point of time.
Chief Minister is giving different statements at different times with regard to SCS, Reddy said that before 2014 elections Naidu termed SCS as Sanjeevani and sought it for a period of 15 years. “Later, Naidu said nothing will happen with the SCS and accepted a special package. But, once the people started opposing the same, Naidu, once again raised voice in favour of SCS. However, once again, Naidu went back from SCS by saying that there will be no use and said it will not bring any incentives to industries,’’ the YSRC chief said.
