Asiana 214 Full Crash and Rescue Footage From Airport Surveillance Camera

This airport surveillance camera video is one of two to have captured the full crash and rescue sequence of Asiana 214 at San Francisco International Airport on July 6, 2013. This video is from Airport Camera C225.

The crash of Asiana 214 instantly created a complex, dynamic, and dangerous mass casualty incident. It left 187 people injured; 49 seriously. Five passengers were extricated from an aircraft which was both on fire and leaking jet fuel. As I have researched the crash I have become more impressed by and understanding of the emergency response and increasingly disappointed in the media's exploitation of its shortcomings, both real and invented.

If you want to know more about this - or any - accident, the best source of information is the NTSB. The accident docket for Asiana 214 contains over 6,000 pages of evidence, and the investigation culminated with the release of a 207 page final accident report.
