Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565 was composed by Johann Sebastian Bach and first published in 1833. The composition is one of the most famous pieces of Baroque organ music ever written.
The Toccata has been used in a variety of media including the 1962 film 'The Phantom of the Opera,' and in Walt Disney's 1940 film 'Fantasia.'
