Winston Ward - Don't Need A Stranger

The wonderful Winston Ward sings "Don't Need A Stranger", a song that myself and Clive Scott wrote with Chris Judge in 2002. Winston blew everyone away with his Northern Soul classic version of "Long After Tonight Is All Over" which you can find the video for on my YouTube channel. The video for that song also features on my "Northern Soul 200 Greatest Floorfillers" DVD. We had to redo it because the original singer, Jimmy Radcliffe, had died in the 1970's. The only voice who could do it justice is my wonderful Winston Ward and wow, did he do it justice! Tahira Jumah found this wonderful man for me. He just simply blew me away with his soulful delivery and ultra cool professional approach. Winston first recorded two tracks for my album "Northern Soul 2008". His first, "Following The Crowd", has been a sensation here on YouTube!! The second track is a cover of Diana Ross's 1970's classic "Getting Ready For Love" and he totally made it his own. This track, "Don't Need A Stranger", features on my fantastic album "Northern Soul 2009", Clive Scott's last ever project and a bittersweet tribute to the much missed legend.
