The "Mauritanian Idol" House Band

Recorded June 2010 at Le Ministre de la Jeunesse - Nouakchott, Mauritanie. A nationally supported Moorish singing competition cum reality TV drama exposed new talents in a format resembling "American Idol." Contestants were judged on stage/on air (TV Mauritanie) and voted on via text message. The house band seen here accompanied each contestant.
