First off, we arent using it to increase minox absorption. Not to say it wouldnt help, but the primary use for it in our case is follicular stimulation and increases collagen synthesis. \r
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ \r

Minoxidil is a collagen synthesis inhibitor (it also inhibits new DNA synthesis, along with decreasing the expression of certain amino aids important for building other proteins; protein is the key constituent of hair), which is why our hair may seem thin, even the terminal ones, on minox. Collagen is fundamental for thick and strong hair. \r

Why do we think its best to wait at least 24 hours after? Aside from increasing potential side effects, collagen synthesis begins immediately to 1 hour after rolling. If you apply minox right after rolling, you will negate these effects. Which is why you might be hindering progress. \r
