Tawa Chicken Fry is a popular chicken recipe which is a must have in most parties and weddings in North India. Shallow fried on an iron girdle, this chicken is a mouth watering recipe.\r

ingredients:\r
chicken 1 kg\r
150 yogurt\r
1 tbsp chaat masala\r
1 tsp red chili powder\r
1 tsp cumin powder\r
1 tsp black pepper powder\r
1 tsp salt \r
1/2 tbsp coriander powder\r
2 tomatoes\r
1 onion fine chopped\r
1 capsicum\r
1 onion ring shaped\r
2 inch ginger chopped\r
3-4 green chiili chopped\r
2-3 tbsp green coriander\r
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste\r
1 tbsp lemon juice.\r
3-4 tbsp oil\r

Method:\r
\r
Marinate the chicken with yogurt ginger garlic paste,lemon juice and all powdered spices.\r
let it marinate for 1 hour.\r
Heat a tawa or vessel, add oil.\r
Place chicken pieces one by one into it, keep the flame high.\r
Let it cook for 2-3 min on high heat without touching it. cook it til it gets a goden color on both side.\r
Add remaining marinade and cover it with a lid.\r
cook it til the chicken gets tender.\r
Then add onion, tomatoes,and capsicum.\r
cook just for 2 min, cover it with a lid.\r
Then fry it on high heat for 4- 5 min.\r
in the end add the fresh coriander, chopped ginger and green chilies.\r
To serve take a tawa pace the chicken pieces and the masala , a few green chillies ginger onion ring, chaat masala, put it on high heat just for 2 min.(optional)\r
serve it with paratha or naan.\r
