Often, an inexperienced caricaturist will put all of their exaggeration efforts into the face and just throw on a neck, shoulders and a small body as an afterthought. But not putting any thought into exaggerating figure is a huge mistake. Just like with the head, the bodys proportions can be changed for humorous reasons, to help you better recognize the subject, or most commonly, to help tell a story or point of view about the subject.\r

In this lesson, Court will explain his process for cartooning the figure and show you a few examples of how he approaches different body types.\r
