Buxa Fort बाघ की आवाज से गूंजता है पूरा इलाका
Historical Buxa Fort पश्चिम बंगाल के Alipurduar जिले के बक्सा Tiger Reserve में स्थित है। 2,844 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित यह यह किला बंगाल के ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों में गिना जाता है।
Buxa Tiger Reserve बक्सा नेशनल पार्क के अंदर स्थित है। यह National Park लगभग 760 वर्ग किमी के क्षेत्र में फैला है। जंगली जानवरों में आप यहां Tiger, सिवेट, हाथी, गौर भारतीय सूअर के साथ कई पक्षी प्रजातियों को भी देख सकते हैं।
इतिहास से जुड़े साक्ष्य बताते हैं कि इस किले का इस्तेमाल King of Bhutan द्वारा विश्व प्रसिद्ध रेशम मार्ग के महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सों की रक्षा के लिए किया जाता था, जो तिब्बत को भारत के साथ जोड़ने का काम किया करते थे। बाद के इतिहास से पता चलता है कि तिब्बत में फैली अशांति के दौरान सैकड़ों शरणार्थियों द्वारा इस किले का इस्तेमाल अस्थायी आवास के रूप में किया गया।
कूच के राजा के आमंत्रण पर अंग्रेजों ने इस किले पर हस्तक्षेप किया और इस पर कब्जा कर लिया। 11 नवंबर, 1865 को सिंचुला संधि के हिस्से के रूप में इस किले को औपचारिक रूप से अंग्रजों को सौप दिया गया था।
भारत के कई ऐतिहासिक पन्नों को संभाले यह किला पर्यटन के लिहाज से काफी ज्यादा मायने रखता है। 1930 के दशक में किले का इस्तेमाल उच्च सुरक्षा जेल और नजरबंद शिविर के रूप में किया गया।
बक्सा किला अलीपुरद्वार से लगभग 30 किमी और राजाभातखावा से लगभग 18 किमी की दूरी पर स्थित है। राजाभातखावा के रास्ते जंगल में प्रवेश किया जा सकता है। यहां का नजदीकी हवाईअड्डा बागडोगरा एयरपोर्ट है । रेल मार्ग के लिए आप अलीपुरद्वार रेलवे स्टेशन का सहारा ले सकते हैं।

Buxa Tiger Reserve is located inside the Baksa National Park. This National Park is spread over an area of approximately 760 sq km. In wild animals, you can see tiger, civet, elephant, and many bird species along with Indian pigs.
Evidence related to history suggests that this fort was used by the King of Bhutan to protect important parts of the world-famous Silk Road, which used to link Tibet with India. Later history shows that this fort was used as temporary residence by hundreds of refugees during the unrest in Tibet.
On the invitation of the King of Cooch, the British interfered and captured this fort. On 11 November 1865, this fort was formally handed over to the British as part of the Cinculture Treaty.
This fort, which handles many historical pages of India, has a lot of significance in terms of tourism. In the 1930s the fort was used as a high security prison and detention camp.
Baxa Fort is located approximately 30 km from Alipurduar and about 18 km from Rajbhatkawa. By the way of Rajbhatbhav, the forest can be entered. The nearby airport is the Bagdogra Airport. You can take the support of Alipurduar Railway Station for the railway route.
