6. Duffle Bag Boy\r
Another doozie. Sandra Baker, from Harrodsburg, Kentucky, arrived at school to pick up her autistic son Christopher, only to find hed be stuffed into a duffle bag with the drawstrings pulled tight. The horrified mother was told that this was a common price for kids who ed up in class and has received no apology since the incident. Apparently, the teacher who restrained the boy and left him outside the classroom claimed that the prise was therapy. However, the therapy in question apparently left Christopher in a shocked state, and he remained withdrawn and uncommunicative for weeks following the incident. \r

5.Drawing on Faces\r
When trying to discipline a group of young, energetic children, its probably best not to draw inspiration from Frat House pranks. But thats exly what one teacher at Delco Elementary school decided to do to incentivise his children into hitting their required reading goals. The teacher apparently encouraged students to draw on the faces of slow-readers with a permanent marker. One grandparent of an ink-faced student said that the ion was “basically punishment” and that “students should feel safe at school”. The price has since been suspended. \r

4.Kneeling on Frozen Peas\r
A trypophobes nightmare this controversial punishment comes to us from China. Apparently, students in China are being forced to kneel on frozen peas with their arms raised in the air for an extended period causing quite a bit of discomfort. The student who snapped this pic of the incident was even expelled just for putting it on the internet. Though it seems to be a growing form of corporal punishment in schools in Asia Ive done a little research and it seems like something that Catholics in the US have a bit of experience with too! \r

3.Teacher votes with class to kick out autistic boy\r
Wendy Portillo, an elementary school teacher in Port St.Lucie, Florida, has been disciplined after asking her class to vote on whether they should let Alex Barton, who suffers from Aspergers syndrome, back into the class. The vote was reportedly precipitated by a class discussion on what they didnt like about Alex, and everyone was encouraged to join in. The Survivor-like vote came down to 14-to-2 against with even Ms Portillo casting a ballot. Surprising absolutely no one this made Alex feel sad and further victimised than he already was. Also, unsurprisingly the school board determined that the incident didnt meet the criteria for emotional abuse, and so no ion has been taken against the Portillo. If that doesnt constitute emotional abuse, then I dont even know what kind of Roald Dahl villain youd have to be to get fired. \r

2.Fake Prom\r
Constance McMillen was outraged when her school, the Itawamba County Agricultural High School refused to let her bring her girlfriend as her prom date. This blatant homophobia on the schools part resulted in McMillen filing suit but, rather than let her attend the school cancelled the prom outright. After the more legal ion was threatened the school ostensibly organised an official prom again, where McMillen and her date were allowed to attend but when they got to the venue, they found only five other students who were special needs or hand mental difficulties and realised they had been set-up. The rest of the school was at a different venue having the real prom. This cowardly, gobsmacking punishment aimed at the most vulnerable students caught massive media attention, turning McMillen into a star with appearances on Ellen and even getting a $30,000 scholarship and she even served as grand marshal for New Yorks Gay Pride Parade. So, thats one way to show the haters.\r

1.Clock Kid\r
Ahmed Mohamed, a 14-year-old kid from Irving Texas, hoped to impress his teachers with a home-made working clock but, instead, found himself in handcuffs and being called a terrorist. Ahmed, who was known for having an avid interest in electronics, somehow managed to spook ual adult humans who confused a kid with a Muslim name and electronic device for being a terrorist mastermind, and the kid was illegally interrogated by police who threatened to charge him with hoaxing a bomb threat. A photograph of the clearly upset Ahmed handcuffed in a NASA T-shirt went viral, and the media went crazy. While some people online claimed that Ahmed had genuinely tried to hoax the world into thinking he had a bomb and even famous blow-hard Richard Dawkins questioned his motives, the majority of people came out in support of the young scientist, including President Obama, who invited Ah
