Fukuoka Ramen Eating Spree ★ ONLY in JAPAN

Fukuoka is the capitol of TONKOTSU RAMEN and man, do they make it good! Tonkotsu -- made from pork bone based soup -- is the ramen of choice here and this time, well go on a ramen eating binge from the famous Yatai in Nakasu and Ramen Stadium to the cheapest ramen in the city in Tenjin! \r

Well also get an inside look at RAMEN UNARIs special GYOKAI TONKOTSU RAMEN which is lighter bodied than the usual tonkotsu served in the city -- and absolutely amazing!\r

There are too many ramen shops in Fukuoka to count! \r
I reviewed the ones that were recommended to me by locals plus the yatai which are famous in Japan. Dont limit yourself to these places but I have to say, I loved Ramen Unari! \r

Note on the criticism of the yatai area along the river: \r
I spent two nights at the Nakasu Yatai Ramen Stands and only 1 in 10 visitors were from Fukuoka. Most were Japanese tourists or from abroad. \r
I went to two yatai and the service was not good each time. At the last one where I filmed, the staff told me You can eat here if you wont stay long. I never had any intention to stay long but I got the feeling they dont have much respect for customers because almost none of them are repeaters, regular customers. \r
I cannot recommend this area, but I hope you have a better experience than me. Try ordering something different than ramen at the yatai. \r
