Good afternoon. One way we can tell summer is here is that major beaches are opening, kicking off with the famous Haeundae Beach in Busan as you can see behind me... it's already packed with crowds...
We'll, in fact, have a great beach weather with a scorching start to June under strong sunshine all day here in Korea.
Most parts will have highs in the thirties. Seoul will get up to 30 degrees as will Gyeongju while Daegu, Gwangju, Chuncheon will make it to 31 under sunny skies.
A tough Friday afternoon is on tap with very high UV rays with strong heat and sunshine so try to take it easy and drink plenty of water.
