Steve Mercer Flown To Hospital Aver Car Incident

According to a report in Autosport, Steve Mercer has been flown to a second hospital for further treatment following an incident involving a course car during Wednesday's Isle of Man TT practice. The transfer, which has taken Mercer away from the Isle of Man to a hospital in Liverpool, was confirmed by his Jackson Racing team. Mercer's wife Caroline wrote on socal media that he had sustained, "serious injuries this evening following an accident on the way back to the Grandstand.
