In this video I test the Samsung UE32ES5500 Full HD 32 LED TVs ability to play video and images files from a USB flash drive.\r
\r
Seven Video Formats Are Tested\r
MTS - Raw Video Cam Footage - Successfully Played\r
avi - Audio Video Interleaved Microsoft - Successfully Played\r
flv - Flash Video - Successfully Played\r
mkv - Matroska Multimedia Container - Failed to play complained about frame rate, may play other files but is obviouslyt picky\r
mov - QuickTime Move - Successfully Played\r
mp4 - MPEG4 - Successfully Played\r
m4v - iTunes Version of mp4 - Failed to display file\r
\r
Two Image Formats Tested\r
jpg - JPEG - Successfully Played\r
CR2 - Camera Raw Image - Failed to display file\r
\r
Although the TV did not play the mkv file I am not sure that it is unable to play all of these files, The TV is maybe just be picky about the frame rate, bit rate, size of these files.
