A taxi driver’s cab has gone off the meter in the mad stakes - after transforming it into a psychedelic nightclub. ‘The Ultimate Taxi’ has been designed as a cross between “Bill Gates’ home office, the Starship Enterprise and a Beatles concert”. It was built by taxi driver Jon Barnes, who has spent the past 30 years driving around Colorado, US, brightening up people’s day. George Lucas, Clint Eastwood, Ringo Starr, Bob Dole and Michael Douglas are among the famous faces to take a trip in the taxi. They have experienced the taxi’s mixing board, mirror ball, 900 LED lights that pulse and change colour to the music and a host of musical instruments
