These pictures show men and women with broomsticks taking part in England's first official Harry Potter QUIDDITCH league. Bristol University's Quidditch club, Brizzlepuffs, has established the country's first ever league for the sport. Inspired by the Harry Potter books, the sport involves players 'riding' on broomsticks chasing after a ball to put into the hoops, which is guarded by a keeper. The game ends when the 'snitch' - a person in a costume in this case - is caught. The South West league, established by the university team, got underway on the Downs on Saturday morning.
