Here is how I cut, label and wrap my melt & pour soaps. I find that a minimal package is best. Using a clear shrink wrap film allows my customers to see my beautiful designs, because if the soaps were boxed up, it would hide all of it! Adding a box, would also mean upping my prices and I want to offer my clients the best price possible.\r

For those of you who asked me why I double wrap instead of just sticking a label, here is why: First, melt & pour needs to be wrapped because it doesnt like moisture. It becomes all wet and sticky if humid air comes in cont with it. Sometimes, with just one wrap, there are tiny holes in the wrap that allows air in. So I foind that double wrapping helps to keep my bars airtight.\r

Second, sticky labels are pricy! Plain paper isnt. If you place plain paper straight on the soap, it will adhere to the MP and get wet and mushy! My clients dont want that! Many of my customers like to keep the label to remember what soaps they bought so they can reorder. \r

You can wrap and label as you wish. This is just how I do it and Ive been doing it for years. That is what works for me. :-)\r
