JonBenet Ramsey Case Expert Shot Outside Office

A forensic psychiatrist who assisted in the investigations into the 1996 death of JonBenet Ramsey was fatally shot. Dr. Steven Pitt was shot outside his office in the Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale. Witnesses heard a long argument and gunfire on Thursday outside his office. Phoenix police Sgt. Vince Lewis says he had no information on whether the killing was related to Pitt’s work. Pit assisted in the investigation into the death of 6 year old JonBenet Ramsey.
