There's no better way to cool off in summer than with a chilled glass of good old-fashioned lemonade. This easy homemade lemonade recipe only needs three ingredients - half a dozen lemons, some sugar and water. It's simple, refreshing and sweet enough that the kids will love it too. Full instructions below.
Ingredients
Six lemons
150 grams of sugar
Two and a half pints of boiling water
Method
1. Squeeze the juice of six lemons into a bowl - make sure you use a sieve to catch any pips! - followed by 150 grams of white sugar. Give it a good old mix.
2. Add two and a half pints of boiling water, give it one final stir, then set aside (or pop in the fridge) to cool for a few hours.
3. Grab some ice and pour yourself a nice tall glass. Delicious.
