Kids and bubbles - is there anything more wonderful?! We thought not - so if you're stuck for something to do this weekend or you're after fun activities for the six week summer holidays, you have to try these incredible homemade giant bubbles! This mix is so quick and easy to make with just a few basic ingredients, and the DIY giant bubble wands are easy to whip up too. Method below.
INGREDIENTS
Half a mug of Cornflour
6 mugs of water
1 mug of washing up liquid
1 tbsp of Glycerine (Available in the baking section of all big supermarkets)
1 tbsp of baking powder
Combine the cornflour and the water and stir gently until the cornflour has dissolved.
Then add the rest of the ingredients and give it another gentle stir.
Now leave the mixture to rest for an hour or so before using.
For the Bubble wand:
Long strand of wool
Half a dozen drinking straws
Sticky tape
Cut the bendy bits off of a few straws, then bunch and tape them together. Thread a large piece of wool through the tubes, securing it with a knot.
