कांग्रेस विधायक एमएम डांग्गो के इस्तीफे के बाद दक्षिण तुरा सीट से एनपीपी की विधायक अगाथा संगमा के अगले सप्ताह अपने पद से इस्तीफा देने की संभावना है। ताकि मेघालय के मुख्यमंत्री कोनराड संगमा इस सीट से चुनाव लड़ सके। बता दें कि अगाथा मुख्यमंत्री संगमा की बहन हैं आैर मुख्यमंत्री का विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ना जरूरी है।
