Trump On Putin, NATO, UK Meetings: 'Putin May Be The Easiest Of Them All'

President Trump on Tuesday said he expects his meeting with Vladimir Putin to be easier than others.

President Trump on Tuesday began his overseas trip with many key meetings ahead.
Before his departure, he commented on the meeting that he thinks will be easier than others.
"I have NATO. I have the UK, which is in somewhat turmoil, and I have [Russian President Vladimir] Putin," Trump told reporters. "Frankly, Putin may be the easiest of them all."
CNN reports: 'Later, when asked if he sees Putin as a friend or a foe, Trump said he sees the Russian leader as a 'competitor.'"
Meanwhile, he has posted numerous tweets concerning NATO members' financial contribution to the alliance.
"The United States is spending far more on NATO than any other Country. This is not fair, nor is it acceptable," Trump wrote on Monday. "While these countries have been increasing their contributions since I took office, they must do much more. Germany is at 1%, the U.S. is at 4%, and NATO benefits Europe far more than it does the U.S."
"By some accounts, the U.S. is paying for 90% of NATO, with many countries nowhere close to their 2% commitment," the president continued. "On top of this the European Union has a Trade Surplus of $151 Million with the U.S., with big Trade Barriers on U.S. goods. NO!"
