The leader of the Foot Clan has been a thorn in the Ninja Turtles’ shells for over thirty years, but Moose is here to help you shred the Shredder for good.

Since the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted in 1984, the gang has battled their fair share of vicious villains — including Oroku Saki, the Shredder. Throughout their comics, movies, and series, the Ninja Turtles’ history is filled with furious battles against Shredder, and not all of them have been successful.

From his murderous appearance in the gory original comics to the 1990 TMNT movie, Shredder has always been one step ahead of Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael. They even thought they’d done away with him in past comics, but he’s managed to reemerge plenty of times.

From the clips we’ve seen so far, it doesn’t look like Shredder will be appearing in Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But whether it’s the new Ninja Turtles cartoon or the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, no matter what the turtles look like, the Shredder won’t be far behind.
