Taken by surprise, the bus driver veered to his right to avoid a collision with the tuk-tuk. He lost control as the bus ploughed into an empty site and toppled after falling into a ditch.
Bystanders rushed to the accident spot and rushed 16 passengers, who were injured, to a nearby hospital.
Eyewitness Mohammad Ajmal, 43, said: “Luckily there were no serious injuries. A road transport official's jeep passed the same road a moment later. But they quietly left without assisting the victims.”
