Roseanne Barr is set to perform a live podcast at Stand Up NY in Manhattan on Thursday.
The 65-year-old comedian will appear at the venue alongside Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, who previously interviewed Roseanne in the aftermath of her firing and has called for the public to forgive her.
Venue owner Dani Zoldan told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "She's a stand-up comic at heart. I sympathise with her on that front. That's why I'm allowing this podcast.
The venue has already arranged to have an increased security presence in preparation for Roseanne's appearance.
