ICW 2018: Designer Suneet Varma on why he is not a diva and why people are afraid of beauty

Suneet Varma is not a diva, and he says that is the reason he has lasted so long in the fashion industry.
On day 3 of the India Couture Week 2018, the designer showcased 55 looks on the runway for his collection titled Nayantara, combining Indian sensibilities and European vision.
"People have a notion that designers are divas, which is not true. I’ve been in the business for 32 years but I don’t think I would have lasted so long if I would have been a diva. You have to have your feet on the ground and be humble since you work with all sorts of people- the karigars, models and clients. I think you need to be a very balanced person to be a successful designer,” he explains," said Varma
