At the unveiling of visvim's 2013 Fall/Winter collection in Paris, we had a chance to catch up with visvim head honcho Hiroki Nakamura and hear his thoughts on the latest collection. A 1948 camping trailer set the tone for the collection, which was aptly titled "A Man with no Country II." Employing predominantly self-produced fabrics along with natural dyes and old world techniques, the collection is a masterclass in thematic, Americana and native-inspired clothing. Hear Nakamura explain the process behind and synthesis of his unique pieces such as his Tibetan-inspired boots with no differentiation between left and right.
