"I’ve always aimed to be open and honest in my music and Between Haircuts is no different. The whole idea of the EP came from a frustration with the facades we’re told to put on daily – social media creates an alternative world where we only show our best angle; politicians lie through their teeth and conversations between friends can often stay surface level. Between Haircuts is an opportunity to look at the nitty gritty of life where it’s not always pretty. Through the project, you’ll here me battling with themes of doubt, lust, fear, escapism and more. The journey of the EP hopefully shows how we can be honest with our personal struggles, whilst working towards becoming the people we want to be." - Mr Ekow
