A dancing “tyrannosaurus rex” and its partner won first place for their charity reel at the Rince Tuath Nua North America Nationals on July 21.Dancers Liam and Tatiana from Flying Irish Dancers (an Irish dance school based in Massachusetts) took home the gold for their hilarious reel which featured Tatiana dressed up as a terrifying T-rex. The dino-duo mixed traditional Irish dancing with elements of the Cretaceous period, and the bizarre combination definitely paid off.The dance was choreographed and filmed by the school’s artistic director Mary-Sarah O’Hanlon, and had over 80,000 views on Facebook at the time of writing.
