Flickentanz is the name of the flexible formation around the vocalist and songwriter Daniela Flickentanz. It is her name at birth and as individual and personal her name, so is her music. She writes in her mother tongue – german - and processes topics of the daily business of being a human as well as the quest of real love and inner freedom. Bernhard Käferböck, her big love and co-songwriter also writes tailor-made songs for Flickentanz and plays most of the pianoparts on the record. At concerts she is accompanied from Susan Blanarik - a great multiinstrumentalist. Flickentanz´ music is always personal und simple, but never shallow.
With her voice she aims to get her audience and herself into the moment and communicate from heart to heart. In summer she will release the first single of her album „handgemacht“ – what you see on BalkonyTV Vienna ist the pre-release of this song. „Mehr Gemüse“ is about putting yourself first in live, get grounded and to get back to the basics. For the video she will cooperate with one of the most faszinating and lovely organic farmer in Austria – „Biohof Adamah“.
