A historical South Korean drama series starring with Ha Ji Won. It aired in MBC 28 October 2013 to April 9 2014 with 51 episodes. The main protagonist Ki Seung Nyang was born in he Goryeo empire and her early childhood she was sent to slavery with her mother to Yuan. (That time Goryeo was under the rule of Yuan (China)) On the way the soldiers killed her mother, so by this happening she decided to live like a man and to help those who also has similar way and got into slavery by the empire of Yuan. Later on she develeped and trained herself and became an extraordinary warrior who really could do a lot for those who were in need.
By sometime passing she met with a brilliant king of Goryeo (Wang Yoo) and with the clumsy crown prince of Yuan (Te Hwan). The story is about their fate but mainly about Seung Nyang's life, how she will turn into the wonderful Empress Ki.
With many action scenes, getting revenge and a beautiful romance. It is worth watching! ;)
