Armed with an Evolve GT electric skateboard, rider Nick Druce decided to film himself climbing one of the steepest Surrey Hills, in an area used for the motor-fest "The Shere Hill Climb".
Captured on the evening of August 5, Druce set a speed precedent of 26mph up a 13 per cent incline hill, being the first recorded case of an electric skateboard to do so.
Riding electric longboards since 2006, Druce has been testing these boards as an alternative form of urban commuting technique, himself making a 6-mile commute regularly on his board.
