Amit Shah’s on Saturday 11/08/2018 conducted a rally in Kolkata where he said that neither Mamata Banerjee nor Rahul Gandhi can stop us from NRC. He said that he will make sure that the process is carried out peacefully.This was Amit Shah's first tour post-NRC list in Assam. Shah had announced his decision to visit West Bengal on 11 August in the midst of TMC leader Mamata Banerjee's scathing criticism of the Centre's National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Assam.
