Red Alert Issued In All 14 Districts Of Kerala | Mathrubhumi News

T'puram: With heavy rains continuing, a red alert has been issued in all the 14 districts in the state. Meanwhile, the government has decided to seek more force from the Centre to assist the state machinery. The decision was taken in the high-level meeting convened by the Chief Minister. The meeting decided to appoint special officers to help District Collectors. The assistance of the Air Force, Navy and Army will be sought to rescue those who have been isolated in the floods. The government has decided to ask Tamil Nadu to take more water from Mullaperiyar as the water level has reached 142 ft.
